Barmbrack

Barmbrack is a Irish bread filled with dried fruit and spices. Traditionally, it is served on Halloween and there is a good luck item, such as a pea or a ring, often placed inside. Ours does not have a good luck item, but we do try to stick to the traditional recipe while making it plant-based. Like all of our breads, this barmbrack is leavened with sourdough.

Ingredients

Bread Flour (Unbleached Hard Red Wheat, Malted Barley), Water, Sourdough (Fermented Wheat), Almond Flour, Mixed Raisins (Thompson raisins and golden raisins), Sugar, Orange Zest, Mixed Spice, Sea Salt

Made in a facility that processes: Peanuts and Soy
